Missions
Enabled by the grace and charisms from the Holy Spirit, and through participations in friendly gatherings, group members will continuously help and support one another to renew and strengthen one’s faith; to live a sanctified Christian life; to build an intimate and personal relationship with the Holy Trinity; to treasure the Word; to behold the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love, all in the pursuit of leading others to God as per the Gospel mission.
Background The Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement began in 1967 at the Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, United States, spreading internationally. The movement was later recognized by the Church Authority, with the set up of an International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS) at Vatican in September 1993. The CMCC Chinese Charismatic Prayer Group is one the many Charismatic prayer groups under the Vancouver Catholic Charismatic Renewal Service. It is dedicated specially to the Chinese speaking Catholics in the Lower Mainland.
