Missions

The CMCC Family choir's mission is to cultivate an open and welcoming environment that uses music and choral singing to build community and honour God as the centre.

Background

Established in the 90s, the Family Choir earned its name from the fact that members of the choir were made of several families willing and wanting to serve for the English Sunday masses. The Family Choir name has taken on a second meaning; that is, everyone who chooses to serve with this choir can expect to belong to a larger family and community that cares for them.

Target Member

Members primarily consist of adults (18+), however given commitment and willingness to serve, the Family Choir can take on high school students as well. Incoming members will be evaluated for range and will need to attend three full practices demonstrating comfort for singing in the choir before singing in the masses.
