Mission
To encourage our members to participate in praise and worship, as well as discussions about our faith. We also encourage our members to participate in gatherings, which are great opportunities for fellowship. Finally, we encourage our members to regularly communicate with God in prayer, both individually and with their families, not just during our regular prayer meetings but also outside of these prayer meeting dates.
Background
Back in June 2001, three families from Canadian Martyrs Parish decided to regularly meet together and form a prayer and Bible study group, with support from Fr. Paul Chu, who was the parish priest at the time. The group initially met in different families' houses, as the parish underwent reconstruction shortly after the group was formed; the reconstruction finished in 2002, and since then, the group now regularly meets every second and fourth Saturday of each month in the parish's main hall. By the grace of God, the group has grown not only in numbers, but also in its members' relationship with Christ.

Membership
All are welcome to join our prayer group. Those aged 13 - 30 are encouraged to join our youth branch - CMYPC - which is also the official English youth group of the parish.

Meeting time
Before the pandemic, our regular meeting date was every second and fourth Saturday of each month, from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm in the parish's main hall. This will also be our meeting time once the pandemic is over.
During the pandemic, we meet virtually every second and fourth Saturday of each month, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Please contact us for the virtual meeting link.
